All the photos I found online werent as pretty. Photos of the Quiapo mosque were all pretty depressing.
Indeed the "Golden Mosque" of Quiapo is in need of some urgent repairs. It is more rusted than golden! :-(
I would suggest to tax the neighbourhood muslim traders one peso for each pirated CD, VCD or DVD that they sell. I am sure that the Mosque would be renovated in no time and get a golden dome anew with those taxes!
Carlos, I am sure you noticed the big new buildings with hundreds of little stalls inside selling pirated DVD's. Obviously it is big business. Alas, I wasn't too welcome to take pictures there! I guess they thought I was a FBI agent... :-)
