CARLOS RECOMMENDS!
My ARTWALK at High Street in Fort Bonifacio has been reset. Try to catch it at the end of the month. We'll talk about Public art, the importance of art in developing a proper urban environment, and maybe have some free coffee and doughnuts. Just go to High Street, there will be signs telling you where the tour will begin.HIGH STREET ART WALK

magkano po ang "damage"?
Is it free? Until what time is it? Should we text and confirm our attendance?
Wow! glad your adding this art walk to your tours...sayang i can't go kasi naka reserve na kami for world pyro (na postpone yung finale. this weekend dapat ginawang 31st) i sure hope there will be a next time :)

Oh dear! There won't be a next time. The 31st is my last artwalk ever. I only tailor made this tour for High Street management. I'm not adding it to my regular tour schedule...
Carlos
Carlos, speaking of adding to your regular tour schedule, have you ever thought about doing a post-independence pre-Marcos Manila architecture tour? Looking at the Manila Hilton, Filam Life, and other buildings in your immediate neighborhood.
I think that part of our heritage is under appreciated.
hi carlos, aliw yung artwalk mo kanina. had a goodlaugh when you joked that there are more pretentious people than you initially thought pala hahaha. ako mismo, walang alam sa art appreciation chuva...sumali lang para may matutunan kahit konti, saka fan mo kasi ako eh.
tnx tnx tnx

bonjour carlos! i am a french expat here in the country and i just wanna say that i enjoyed the art walk. to be honest, i am surprised to see the abundance of art here. most foreigners will come and visit the philippines not to see art but probably the pristine beaches and the scrumptious food. i was one of them.
i am grateful that you were able to make me see manila and its environs in a whole, new different light.
thanks,
thibault

Love your site -- please don't give up on Manila! (Am sure we all have felt that way at some frustrating point in our lives.)
I have too many excuses for not being able to join any of your tours (yet) -- got pregnant, couldn't walk, took care of baby, got too busy as a working mom, got pregnant again, juggled baby and toddler -- but now I have no excuse, am a stay-at-home-mom. I've been to 5 dozen countries, hundreds of foreign cities, yet I haven't quite seen Manila the way I should! I will gather a small group and finally book a tour with you Carlos.
Meanwhile, you mentioned the Sys, Gokongweis and Ayalas. And then you did an Art Walk at High Street. How about getting the Ayalas who own that area to support you in restoring old Manila?
