According to rough Google translation, the last paragraph reads:
But even this is quite true. A 'tourist agency have long been proposed for a few pesos a "Imelda tour" in the places of his power and his defeat.

That is funny. I'll try it nga on another translation service. It's like refrigerator magnet poetry sometimes with Google translate.
I talked to the guy for around an hour on the phone too. It's hilarious that he only used less than a second's worth of info. The connection was bad. I think we kinda got lost in translation too.
Very nice chap though. Very courteous.
I love how you compared online translators to refrigerator magnet poetry, so true! ;-)
Ask Silvana or Romina to translate it for you.
Oh, speaking of foreign languages: remember you said if I took Spanish class, you'd join? I don't want to take in IC 'cause it's a pain for me to have to go to Manila that often. But then I realized, why not Berlitz? It's just on Paseo de Roxas! Whaddayathink, should I look into it? :-)
Hmm. That's medyou malayo too for me naman.
Instituto Cervantes es mas cerca de mi domicilio.
God. I hope I got that right. I'm a terrible tisoy. I don't even say "cono".
I never say "cono," it's too cono! ;-)
Don't you live in Pasig anymore, do you live in Syquia already? I had thought Makati would be nearer you.
Hi Carlos,
I took the Instituto Cervantes classes through the Internet. I took the advanced classes because of my prior knowledge of Spanish from my frequent trips to Spain in the past.
Although I live in the US, I made a trip to Manila and visited IC and enrolled myself to the courses.
Prior to that, I communicated with an IC Spanish National named Lola (forgot her last name) who teaches there.
I finished part of the courses but when it was time to renew my enrollment, I could not, because they only accept Cash Peso Payment and I have no way to doing so.
What I am saying is, you can learn Spanish at a distance through internet.
Once enrolled, IC will give you a password and voila, you can access the course from your computer. The courses are channeled from IC in Madrid.
If you're interested, Ask for Lola at IC and I'm sure she still remembers the guy from the US who came to Manila and enrolled and attained the courses through the computer.
XOxo
Had fun with an Italian friend whom I nudged online to attempt this (he's learning English, too):
MANILA Rolls Royce brings bejeweled ladies before the Sofitel at Manila Bay, minutes after anti-bomb control. Between Filipina two hostess in traditional garb, a throng of guests in rustling silks, smoking and among livery make their way to the grand sala decked with chandeliers and strips of white linen that cascade from every angle of the ceiling..
dear Carlos.
the sense of the last pragraph is that "a tour guide is offering for few pesos an Imaelda tour in the places of her glory and of her debacle. That-s a kind of advertisement without unlikely mention the name. But everybody can find out on internet under Imelda tour. check it out.'
all the best
that guy
