HAPPY RIZAL DAY...

On December 30, 1896, a brilliant man was put to his death for speaking his mind.
Let's not forget the gravity of that.

Meanwhile, listen to the Lourd.

Happy Rizal Day, Everyone.

Very nice list, Lourd (and thanks for this post, Carlos). Although, if Rizal would be alive today he would probably be an activist and an indie filmmaker. He's an artist, so I'm pretty sure he would like to share his thoughts. (like maybe make El Fili and Noli a movie directed/written by him, perhaps? that would be interesting. a take on Rizal's very own works.)

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of Jose Rizals in our time now, they are just not properly recognized. But still, at least it's good to know that there are other people who are willing to sacrifice themselves for their own country. Pinoy pride pa rin. :)

Hey Do you agree what lourd says about a modern day rizal?

about he as a inspiration to your secular movement, there is some truth to what you have said Carlos, but give the church credit for 1986 and 2001 revolutions

Happy new year!

Josemaria
