YOU ARE INVITED TO A TEA PARTY...

Once upon a time, there was once this fabulous blog belonging to a fabulous food writer and food stylist named Lori Baltazar. So delicious was this blog that we here at The Living Room had this crazy idea that she should hold an art exhibition featuring a some of Manila's finest desserts with her as the curator. So we called her out of the blue and asked her if she liked the idea. Strangely enough, she said, "Yes". So ladies and gentlemen, allow us to present:

The Living Room

carlos,
saw in lori's blog there's a limit of 30 people for you and her. question, would it be possible to bring along my 3 year old girl- with the promise that she is NOT a bratty, obnoxious, loud, ksp of a whelp that will remain well-mannered?

Acidboy, yes. I'm pretty sure that will be ok. But you have to hurry and email her. She is the one taking in all the names for my list too. Goooooo! I think the quota is almost full...

Oh How I wish I can teletransport myself and attend your tea party, alas, I just have to comfort myself with the delicious Almond Poppy Seed Cake here in the Great White North! Blog about the actual event and post pictures. All Best. Am glad you did not blog about Leyte, we do need a breather here. But we of course condole and sympathize with all those who perished and their bereaved relatives.

I know. I sympathize with them too. Such a tragedy. But really, I couldn't blog yet another post re: the matter because there would be nothing I could say that would be anything different from what is already out there and that would change anything for the better. I'd rather offer my condolences in silence.

You are an evil, evil person! Desserts so soon after Christmas! I haven't had time to shed the consequences of all that queso de bola, fruitcake, chocolates...
Oh well, since I didn't check your blog soon enough, I missed the chance to sign up for this. So I guess its all for the best. ü
Know anyone going who can write about it for me? ü
